BTS member J-Hope has garnered significant attention after it was reported that he recently purchased two luxury apartments in Seoul.
On September 3rd, a media outlet revealed that J-Hope acquired a penthouse in a high-end apartment complex in Seoul for 12 billion KRW (approximately $9.2 million USD), paying the entire amount in cash. Just a month later, he also purchased the unit directly below the penthouse.
According to the report, J-Hope signed the contract for the unit beneath the penthouse in June 2020 and completed the full payment in July of this year, officially transferring the ownership. The current market value of the apartments in this complex is estimated to be between 11 billion and 12 billion KRW (approximately $8.4 million to $9.2 million USD). It is believed that J-Hope paid over 20 billion KRW (approximately $15.4 million USD) in cash for both apartments, as he did not take out any mortgage loans.
This isn’t the first time J-Hope has invested in luxury real estate. With these recent acquisitions, he now owns a total of four luxury residences, further solidifying his status as "young and rich."
Meanwhile, J-Hope enlisted for his mandatory military service on April 18th last year and is expected to be discharged in October.
