According to media outlet reports on August 26 KST, the Seoul Central District Court has rejected HYBE's request to restrict access to the trial records of the injunction case against CEO Min Hee Jin of ADOR.
It's said that HYBE Labels filed the request by claiming that the evidence submitted during the trial, including KakaoTalk messages between ADOR representatives and Min Hee Jin's shareholder contract, contain private conversations as well as confidential business information that they do not wish to be publicized.
The Seoul Central District Court, however, has determined that the records of this trial do not require access restrictions, citing that the records do not violate laws against the protection of confidential business information, as HYBE claimed.
Previously, Min Hee Jin filed an injunction request against HYBE to prevent the parent company from exercising its voting rights to remove her from her position as CEO. The court sided with Min Hee Jin and granted the injunction, preventing HYBE from exercising its voting rights.
