BTS' V wrote a sweet letter to fans from the military.
On June 13, V shared a handwritten letter for fans. The BTS member is currently serving as a special member of the military police unit in the 2nd Army Corps in Chuncheon, and he took some time off to connect with ARMY. His letter is as follows:
"Hi! I miss you! Is everyone doing well and staying healthy?
I'm eating well and sleeping well, living healthily while also training. I'm receiving good reviews from my seniors and fellow trainees, and gaining various experiences. I even got an award for being a little bit of a pride to the unit!
I also received a commendation, and our company commander often says that our unit's soldiers are doing well without much trouble. It makes me happy just to be in the same unit as our soldiers!
I'm also grateful to be able to train alongside leaders and colleagues. Don't worry too much! I've become a platoon sergeant and even though the position comes with some pressure, I'm very excited. Please understand.
Recently, during free time, I've been working out alone, and my body has gotten significantly stronger. I think I'm starting to overcome my anxiety a little bit. I'm overcoming my struggles, which were not just minor issues but real battles.
So I mentioned that I'm doing well. I hope everyone is healthy and not sick. I hope you're not too anxious, and that we can meet without any worries. When we meet again, let’s cherish and enjoy every moment we waited for.
Let’s live happily until we see each other again! I miss you and love you all so much. I’ll say goodbye for now. Bye~."
Stay tuned for updates on V!

This is not a good translation at all. Below is the official English translation that was shown next to the Korean version during Festa.
Official translation of Taehyung’s festa letter:
ARMY! I miss you all! Are you all safe and sound?
I'm eating well, sleeping well, training well, and leading a healthy life.
My military colleagues, juniors, and seniors all support and cheer me up. They bring so many new and diverse experiences. I don't mean to brag, but I even scored in the top ranking in some fields. Haha. I'm good at shooting, too! I've been getting a lot of praise, and I've learned a lot about Hapkido and Jiu-Jitsu from my courageous fellow soldiers. It's like I'm a new person! I respect my comrades and their robust build. I'm thankful just to be able to train with them, and I'm working hard just to keep up! They really inspire me to work harder. I've gotten some bruises in the process, but I won't push myself too hard! I just got a little too excited. Please understand. LOL.
These days, in my free time... I dance alone in a corner. I just can't help myself. I warm myself up with dance moves so that I won't totally lose touch.
And I'm no longer afraid of heights. It was a piece of cake to overcome my fears. Just kidding, I was scared out of my wits, but I eventually got over it. I'm doing well, and I hope our ARMY is safe and sound, too. I wish you all good health and carefree days ahead. Since we're apart, we can't help but be concerned about each other. But now we know we have nothing to worry about until we meet again. And when we reunite, let's release all the emotions that we have built up during our time apart.
I so desperately want to see you and I miss you terribly. ABF (Army and BTS Forever). Let's trust each other forever! I purple you! Bye!
