During a press conference at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Seoul Office in Jongno-gu on May 7 KST, Commissioner Cho Ji Ho announced plans to accelerate the investigation into the complaint filed against Min Hee Jin, CEO of ADOR, a subsidiary label under HYBE. Cho stated, "Given the high level of public interest, we will conduct a thorough investigation at a faster pace than usual."
Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Chief Cho Ji Ho clarified that the investigation is currently in the stage of reviewing records and emphasized that the absence of confirmed figures does not invalidate the allegations. He stressed the importance of uncovering the truth through a comprehensive investigation.
HYBE lodged a complaint with the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul on April 25 KST, accusing CEO Min Hee Jin and VP Shin Dong Hoon of breach of trust. Following an interim audit of ADOR, HYBE announced that they had obtained concrete evidence indicating a plan orchestrated by ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin to seize management control. The evidence reportedly includes information assets outlining strategies to obtain management rights and correspondence with external investors. Additionally, Adore CEO Min Hee Jin admitted to drafting documents aimed at undermining HYBE's position.
