Singer Daesung has kicked off his live tour in Japan.
On the 13th and 14th, Daesung held the first concerts of his 'D-LITE JAPAN TOUR 2024 "D’s IS ME"' in Kawasaki, Japan.
At the concerts, Daesung opened with 'WINGS,' one of the hit tracks from his Japanese solo album, and greeted the local fans in fluent Japanese, marking the official start of the performance.
True to the tour title 'D’s IS ME,' Daesung filled the venue with a setlist that showcased everything about him. From 'The Ballad of a Singer' to 'Rainy Rainy' and 'Dress,' he performed stages of songs that are beloved in Japan, thrilling the audience.
Moreover, Daesung delivered non-stop entertainment, from a cover of 'BETELGEUSE' to his recent singles 'Falling Slowly' and 'Light', and a Big Bang dance medley, showcasing his standard as a performance artist.
Having sold out every session of his original Japanese talk & live solo hall tour 'Dな SHOW Vol.2' in August last year, Daesung has filled the seats again in this tour, the first in seven years, proving his undiminished popularity and his strength as a global artist.
Currently, Daesung is actively releasing albums and also participating as a master on MBN's 'Korea-Japan Singing Contest', meeting the public in various fields.
Following his successful first fan day in Korea last month, 'D’s ROAD in SEOUL,' he is also planning to start an Asia tour in the first half of this year to meet fans around the world directly.
Having successfully completed the first concerts, Daesung will continue his tour in Kobe, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Kurashiki, Nagoya, Hiroshima, and Osaka until May 31.
I’m so happy for Daesung, now we just need him to come to America where he has many fans who are dying to see him in concert.
