According to an exclusive media outlet report on April 12 KST, aespa's Winter is currently recovering at a university hospital after completing surgery for spontaneous pneumothorax.
The surgery was completed successfully on April 11. It's believed that Winter will take the next month to recover while preparing for aespa's comeback, scheduled for some time in May. She also plans on participating in aespa's world tour upon as usual. The group is currently scheduled to perform in 14-cities from June through September.
Meanwhile, Winter was seen carrying out schedules in Japan as recently as this past weekend, making an appearance on the music program 'Venue 101' with her group.

I need more info. A spontaneous pneumothorax isn’t something you recover from in a week. It usually involves a chest tube, at least a week in the hospital after surgery, in my nursing experience.
