In the wake of Karina and Lee Jae Wook's relationship announcement, a Japanese variety show with aespa is being re-examined.
On February 27, a post titled 'The Japanese variety show that predicted Karina's romance this year' in an online community caught the attention of netizens.
The variety show mentioned in the post is Fuji TV's 'K-Pop House,' with the episode airing on January 18, which featured aespa as the special guest. In this episode, the members of aespa engaged in the traditional Japanese practice of 'Omikuji,' drawing paper fortunes to discover their prospects for the year 2024.
'Omikuji' refers to a paper lot drawn at Shinto shrines in Japan to predict one's fortune.
The paper Karina drew had the word 'daikichi' (great luck) written on it. Upon seeing this, Ningning expressed her envy, saying, "Oh, that's a good one," and read out loud the interpretation on the paper drawn by Karina. It said, "You're going to have good luck in both your work and in your love life - a sincere person in relationships..."
At the mention of 'sincere person in relationships,' Karina joked by putting her hand up and saying, "Manager, gomen (sorry)," bringing laughter to the set.
The confirmation of Karina and Lee Jae Wook's romance has reignited interest in this segment of the show.
In other news, Dispatch reported on the morning of February 27 that Karina and Lee Jae Wook have been dating since meeting in Milan, Italy, as ambassadors for a luxury brand. Both agencies have acknowledged the relationship, saying they are now getting to know each other.
Really happy for her. But maybe stop post regarding her private life. This will put huge amount of pressure on her. Sighed.
