On December 6, it was reported that Jessi is currently in discussions of terminating her contract with MORE VISION, led by Jay Park.

According to the label, the company intends to terminate its exclusive contract with Jessi, and the two parties are engaging in discussions. 

Earlier this year, in April, Jessi revealed she signed an exclusive contract with MORE VISION, bringing excitement for her future endeavors with the new company after leaving P NATION, led by Psy.

However, in less than a year, it appears Jessi will have an early exit from MORE VISION. According to one industry insider, disagreements formed between Jessi and MORE VISION during her latest promotion with "Gum."

Jessi returned with her new song "Gum" on October 25, KST, marking six months since joining MORE VISION. However, controversy arose when she unexpectedly canceled her appearance on KBS2's 'Music Bank' on October 27, citing a sudden health condition as the reason.

Jessi also missed appearances on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' and SBS's 'Inkigayo' due to health issues, contrasting with her previous active participation in music broadcast stages during album promotions.

Upon learning about the recent developments involving Jessi and MORE VISION, reactions among K-netizens were mixed. While a segment expressed little surprise at the news, a significant number voiced their shock.
