Singer/actress Choi Ye Na is finally making a comeback for the first time since her "Hate Rodrigo" controversy.
According to media outlet reports on December 21 KST, Choi Ye Na is currently in the final preparation stages for her comeback, which is scheduled for mid-January of 2024.
Previously in June of this year, Choi Ye Na became wrapped up in controversy for the title track from her 2nd single album, 'Hate XX'. Called "Hate Rodrigo", the song was criticized for directly referencing pop star Olivia Rodrigo not only in its name and lyrics, but also for Choi Ye Na's "copycat" portrayal of the pop singer in her MV.
After the controversy, Choi Ye Na took time off from her promotions in Korea, instead making her Japanese debut with the release of "Smiley -Japanese Ver.-" (feat. Chanmina) in August.
Stay tuned for additional details on Choi Ye Na's return in early 2024.
