BLACKPINK's Jennie spotted with her YG team, fans buzz with speculation about her next move

AKP STAFF

With no further updates on BLACKPINK's contract renewal with YG Entertainment, except that the label is continuing to negotiate with the members, the uncertainty about the group's future has become amplified.

On November 16, social media platforms such as X were filled with speculations about Jennie's future promotions after she was seen attending the Tamburins Popup Pre-opening event with two of her managers, Jaemin and Hosup, who are rumored to have recently parted ways with YG Entertainment.

The recent developments surrounding Jennie have sparked widespread speculation among fans about her future career trajectory, particularly following observations that she might have left YG Entertainment along with her managers.

Amid this uncertainty, it has come to light that Jennie has taken a calculated measure by filing for trademarks under the name 'Jennie Ruby Jane' in ten distinct categories ranging from food and beverage to jewelry and luxury goods. This move has intensified discussions among her followers, who are now also expressing concerns about the future of BLACKPINK. This unease has been further heightened by the news that Lisa's manager, after a significant five-year period at YG Entertainment, has updated her LinkedIn profile to reflect a departure from the company.

Given these developments, there is a growing belief among some observers that Jennie may be in the process of establishing her own management agency.

Due to YG Entertainment's limited communication on the matter, observers and fans will have to take a wait-and-see approach to know what is occurring behind the scenes.

YG might as well just say what is going on now. People will make up their own minds otherwise and investors will dump stocks believing BP has left. IF they have left why hold back and not say anything now.

Once more with feeling: Blackpink ended in September. Their contracts expired in August, they completed the tour in September, and that was it. Babymonster should have debuted in September, but YG's criminal trial delayed those plans until it was resolved.

Lisa made it abundantly clear she was gone in September with her Crazy Horse shows. Both Jennie's and Lisa's managers left YG in October. Jennie has applied for Korean trademarks for the name Jennie Ruby Jane in multiple categories, which is also a good sign that she's also gone, since YG would never allow her to own her own trademarks like that. Now Jennie is seen with former YG staff? Yeah, she's gone and she hired them to work for her.
