Sunmi, who recently made a comeback with her single 'STRANGER,' appeared as a special guest on the latest episode of 'Bam House.'

BamBam shared, "Today's guest is a mysterious person. I've known her for a veryyy long time but I still don't know why we're not very close yet. I hope after today, we become closer." 

After welcoming Sunmi to his home, their conversation revealed why they are still awkward with each other despite knowing each other for a long time. 

It was revealed that Sunmi and BamBam have known each other since being together in JYP Entertainment and are now under the same label, Abyss Company, but they only contact each other during their birthdays, which they share the same date. 

BamBam explained, "We have the same birthday. May 2nd. Last birthday, we sent each other greeting messages. And this year's birthday, I saw the text messages, and that was the last text we exchanged." Sunmi also added, "We only exchange text during our birthdays," and confessed, "I'm the type of person who doesn't initiate the conversation." 

The two began reading their message and laughed when BamBam revealed that the two really didn't talk all year except on their birthdays.

BamBam confessed, "But sometimes I want to ask you, 'Let's have a drink?' But I don't know how to ask..."

Sunmi suggested, "How do we deal with this situation? We should have time for artists from Abyss to gather and get closer. You plan it." and added, "BamBam is the king of Abyss."

BamBam countered by saying, "But you're the lake of Abyss. You made the company grow so big. If you weren't part of the company, I wouldn't have joined Abyss."

He revealed, "When I contacted you and asked about the company, I was like, 'Is it a company I could trust?'  She really told me good things about the company" and allowed him to make his decision to join.
