Italian luxury brand Gucci proudly revealed its new Korean global ambassador on October 6.
In an announcement, Gucci declared they have selected the beloved actress Park Gyu Young to represent their renowned brand. The luxury fashion house expressed its excitement about the new collaboration, stating, "We look forward to the new aesthetics and style of the house."
Park Gyu Young reciprocated this enthusiasm, sharing, "I am extremely honored to take on the role of Gucci's global ambassador. I intend to showcase my unique personality, passion, and confidence through various activities with Gucci."
Shortly after this announcement, Park jumped right into her ambassadorial duties, attending the prestigious "Gucci Ancora" fashion show in Milan, Italy, on the 22nd of the previous month.
Park Gyu Young debuted with the music video "Crosswalk" by singer Jo Kwon in 2016. After her debut, it became known that she graduated from Busan Foreign Language High School and Yonsei University's Department of Clothing and Textiles.
Following this accomplishment, Gyu Young broadened her horizons, starring in tvN's drama 'Bring It On, Ghost' and taking on pivotal roles in several KBS2 drama specials.
Her impeccable acting skills garnered immense recognition, notably through her performances in JTBC's 'Rain or Shine,' 'The Third Charm,' tvN's 'Romance Is a Bonus Book,' and SBS's 'The Nokdu Flower'. In 2020, she offered a standout performance as Nam Joo Ri, a mental hospital nurse with 7 years of experience, in the tvN drama 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay.'
Presently, Gyu Young is making arrangements to engage with international audiences as she’s been cast in Netflix's much-anticipated sequel, 'Squid Game 2.' Joining an extraordinary cast line-up that includes well-acclaimed actors like Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Park Sung Hoon, Lee Jin Wook, Yang Dong Geun, and Choi Seung Hyun (TOP), Gyu Young is set to leave her mark on this global sensation.
'Squid Game 2' is set to be exclusively released on Netflix next year.
Gucci doesn't like Kai anymore because of the decline in popularity so they replaced him 😈 (reason is not military)
