According to an exclusive media outlet report by SPOTV News on August 16 KST, EXO member Chen (Kim Jong Dae, 31) will hold a late wedding ceremony with his wife some time in October.

Chen initially announced his marriage to his non-celebrity wife in January of 2020, simultaneously delivering news of his wife's pregnancy. In April of that year, Chen and his wife welcomed their first daughter. 

In October of 2020, Chen began his mandatory military service as an active duty soldier. During his time in the military, Chen's wife gave birth to the couple's second daughter in January of 2022. The singer was then discharged from his mandatory service in April of that year. 

Three years into their marriage with two infant daughters, Chen and his wife have yet to hold a wedding ceremony. Now, according to SPOTV News, the couple is quietly preparing for their belated wedding, which will take place privately with close family, friends, and the other EXO members present.
