Singer and actress Han Seung Yeon was angered at the news of a lioness escaping from a private ranch and later being killed.
On August 14, a lioness that had been held captive for 20 years on a private ranch in Goryeong County, Gyeongsangbuk-do, managed to break free. She took refuge in a nearby forest, only 30 meters from her cage, where she remained peaceful during her brief taste of freedom. Despite her known docility and the fact that she was born and raised in captivity, a team of 160 individuals tracked her down within an hour. Tragically, due to concerns about potential risks to humans, the lioness was shot and killed.
Upon reading this article, Han Seung Yeon shows anger, saying, “After confining it for 20 years? Was it the best option?”
