No one could have predicted this shocking cast for Netflix's 'Squid Game 2'.
On June 29 KST, Netflix officially unveiled the second cast lineup for the massively successful thriller series, 'Squid Game' season 2. Previously, Netflix confirmed that 'Squid Game 2' would be led by Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Joon, Lim Siwan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Sung Hoon, Yang Dong Geun, and Gong Yoo.
It turns out, the newly announced supporting cast might create even more of a buzz. Joining 'Squid Game 2' are 'Sweet Home' alums Park Gyu Young and Lee Jin Wook, as well as talented film stars Kang Ae Shim and Lee David. Fresh faces including Jo Yu Ri, Won Ji An, and Noh Jae Won, also join the crew, rounded out by musician/actor T.O.P (Choi Seung Hyun), returning to acting for the first time in approximately 6 years since 'Out of Control' in 2017.
According to Netflix, the complete cast recently attended a script reading on June 23 in preparation for the main filming, which is scheduled to begin some time this summer.
Be prepared for the unexpected from director Hwang Dong Hyuk and 'Squid Game' season 2!
