Actress Lim Na Young, a former member of I.O.I and PRISTIN, decided to sign an exclusive contract with Ascendio.
Previously in May, the actress parted ways with Sublime Artist Agency, her agency of 4 years. According to media reports on June 1st, Lim Na Young has signed with Ascendio, which is an agency currently home to actors and actresses including Kim So Eun, Hahm Eun Jung (T-ara's Eunjung), Choi Soo Jong, and more.
Lim Na Young first made an appearance on Mnet's girl group survival program 'Produce 101' and debuted with I.O.I. She then re-debuted as a member of PRISTIN back in 2017. Following the official disbandment of PRISTIN in May 2019, Lim Na Young relaunched her career as an actress by appearing in the drama 'Flower of Evil', 'Imitation', the film 'The Distributors', and more.

Nice to see that she still has pull to get picked up. I've always felt for her that things haven't taken off like it has for most of the other girls considering her model like visuals. But even from successful groups, that doesn't always guarantee success for solo projects as we've seen in many other cases. She wants to keep going, so I wish her well.
