Singer/actor Ong Seong Wu will be enlisting soon for his mandatory service as an active duty soldier.
On March 16 KST, Fantagio announced via Ong Seong Wu's official cafe,
"Hello, this is Fantagio.
First, we thank WELO (fans of Ong Seong Wu) for your generous love toward our artist, and we notify you of Ong Seong Wu's mandatory service enlistment plans.
Ong Seong Wu will begin his mandatory service with basic training on April 17 before going on to carry out the remainder of his service as an active duty soldier.
To minimize the potential for chaos on site, there will be no separate ceremony for the artist's enlistment. As the new recruit enlistment ceremony is a private site for new recruits and their families to spend time before their parting, we politely ask that fans refrain from visiting.
Please send your warm love and support toward Ong Seong Wu, who will carry out his mandatory duties diligently and return safely.
Thank you."
Meanwhile, Ong Seong Wu is currently awaiting the premiere of his new films 'Starlight Falls' and 'Cattle Run'.
Can you really even call him a singer anymore? He dropped his debut mini album some years back and said "fck music" ever since. Which is annoying because that debut album was really good.
