The SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Taxi Driver 2' achieved its highest rating of the season on March 25, according to Nielsen Korea, a rating research company. The 10th episode of the series recorded a national household rating of 17.7%, surpassing the previous record set by season 1 of 16%.
The episode also received the highest viewer rating of the day at 20.9% and an audience share of 6.8%, ranking first among all channel programs broadcast during the week.
'Taxi Driver 2' began airing last month with a viewer rating of 12.1%. While the series showed consistent viewership ratings in the 10% range, the 8th episode recorded the highest viewership rating of season 1, 16%, raising expectations for even higher ratings.
In the 10th episode, the 'Rainbow Model Taxi Team' succeeded in delivering justice to a doctor who had been using her patients for financial gain. Kim Do Ki (played by Lee Jae Hoon) forcefully subdued the doctor, administered an anesthetic, and made her face her fear by placing her on the operating table like the patients she had betrayed.
'Taxi Driver 2' airs every Friday and Saturday at 10 PM. With its gripping storyline and strong performances by the cast, the drama is expected to maintain its high viewership ratings in the coming weeks.
