Apink's Eunji will be postponing the release of her remake album "log."
On October 30, Eunji's agency, IST Entertainment released an official statement on her official fan cafe notifying her fans that Eunji's remake album "log" which was scheduled to be released on November 2 has been postponed due to the Itaewon tragedy and national mourning period.
In addition to that, the agency also notes that they will notify the postponed release schedule after consulting the distributor of their album.
The full statement reads:
"Hello, we are IST Entertainment.
We would like to inform that Jung Eunji's remake album 'log' which was scheduled to be released on November 2 has been postponed due to the Itaewon tragedy and the national mourning period.
IST Entertainment and our artist Jung Eunji are praying for the quick recovery of the injured and our condolences goes out to the victims.
The delayed release schedule will be announced after consultation with our distributor. We ask for the understanding of fans who have been waiting for us.
Thank you."
Meanwhile, this delay is in light of the Itaewon stampede that happened earlier on October 30, killing over 151 people, and injuring over 300. A national mourning period has also been declared for this national tragedy.
I was waiting for this album though, too bad it was postponed.
