The thing that's fun about K-Pop is that they always have so many concepts that they do. One of them is horror. Well, not exactly horror, but definitely creepy and spooky, and it's not even for Halloween. Check out some of K-Pop's spooky music videos.
VIXX – Voodoo Doll
VIXX is known for their scary and creepy concept, but this one specifically, I can never finish watching it. The Reddit community said that this music video is one of the most disturbing ones ever to be released, and they could not even make it halfway through. The music, however, is not that creepy and is actually good.
G-Dragon – Coup D’Etat
As he rises as if born from clay and chased by faceless women, G-Dragon really showcased his talent for pulling off such a creepy concept. Although, I'd be scared to join him on his coup d'etat.
Block B – Jackpot
Okay, can we all agree that clowns are creepy? Especially when they look like the ones in the intro. Why would you put something so creepy so early in the video? But, the entire video and the song were pretty fun. The maniacally entertaining members were having the time of their lives at the circus.
Sunmi – Full Moon
I love Sunmi, but the jump scare in this video definitely needed a trigger warning. Yes, the tone hinted at it, but who thought it was going to be a full-on horror movie that first few seconds? The rest of the video isn't so scary, though.
Tomorrow by Together – Can't You See Me
Not only does the song have a creepy tone to it, but the whole music video also has a very twisted storyline to it. Beomgyu was seen trying to suffocate Taehyun, and they were playing with what was seen as strawberries and tomatoes and were covered in red all over, but are they really just food?
Dreamcatcher – BEcause
These girls are known for their creepy concepts that they always pull off so brilliantly. BEcause is one of many of their music videos that is spooky. At the start of the video, it looked as if Gahyeon was looking at her reflection and then trying to choke the reflection. I mean, I get it; sometimes I feel that way too, but something about this one and the rest of the video kind of feels sinister.
CIX – Jungle
From being movie stars to what looks like a cult, CIX definitely proved that they can do any concept thrown their way. You would think a song titled Jungle would be set in a jungle, but instead, they were surrounded by skeletons and were put in a tomb.
Red Velvet, IRENE & SEULGI - Monster
The concept of this music video and song is entirely based on the book Carmilla, about a lesbian vampire who only feeds on women. The entire video isn't too scary, except for when Irene suddenly turned into a devil for 2 seconds. That definitely gave a scare.
Red Velvet – Peek-A-Boo
Probably because they're always seen as the bright Red Flavor girls, Red Velvet actually has quite a few cheerfully creepy music videos, and this is one of them. Why were they chasing the pizza delivery guy, and their home was seen filled with pizza boxes and the top half of bodies wearing pizza delivery t-shirts?
KARD – You In Me
This music video started off looking so innocent and nothing too scary until you realized both the guys are actually dead. A love so strong they couldn't let their lovers go and pretend that they were still alive. Creepy much?
ENHYPEN - Drunk-Dazed
Bathing in blood? This is what you call a house party gone wrong. But I mean, this is what you get when a bunch of vampires throws a house party. Of course, there's going to be a blood fountain. Oh, and the red drinks? I can assure you those aren't red wine.
(G)I-DLE - Oh my god
This video had me saying, " Oh my god, " in the middle of it with the creepy whisper... and the screen turning red. The members looked like they were covered in blood or mud. It's nothing haunting, but something creepy definitely is going on.
MemoQ (Banned)5,135 pts Wednesday, October 5, 2022 1Yall need to know what Creepy means. G-DRAGON's Coup D'Etat is a symbolic MV and his own revolution within himself, talking about how media blindly attacks him, how he turn to be just a machine to sell tickets for his company, how internal and social media will throw hate words against him, more about his mental issues and so much more than word "Creepy"
