It's been almost a whole year since the release of Jin's first OST 'Yours' for the Korean drama 'Jirisan.' Since then, it has bagged multiple awards and nominations. Among them, "Best OST Of The Year 2021" at the Hallyu Talk Award and "Best Global K-drama OST Artist" at the Top Ten Asia Award. He is also nominated in the Individual category for The Fact Music Awards!

On September 30, the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2022 announced the representative songs for the Grand Awards nominations. The Asian Academy Creative Awards is one of Asia-Pacific’s most prestigious awards for creative excellence. The best of the best from 16 nations will be representing the region’s content industry and celebrating the finest works from around the region. The participating nations are Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Grand Awards will be held on December 7-8, 2022, at the Chijmes Hall in Singapore.

The judges of AACA select each representative song. The judges are industry professionals of high standards and unquestionable expertise in the genre. Those who meet the criteria of working in a particular field of expertise for a minimum of 5 years and can demonstrate credits of a track record in the genre can become a part of the judges' committee of AACA.

In Round 1, the judges select a representative song of the participating countries for each nomination. The winners will be announced at the Grand Awards & Gala Finale of AACA 2022 in Singapore.

Among all of the South Korean nominees for the “Best Theme Song or Title Theme,” the experts of the judges' committee selected 'Yours' by Jin as the National Winner. This song will represent South Korea at the grand Awards & Gala Finale in December.

Jin was chosen to sing the main OST for Jirisan by the production company and the famous musical director Gaemi. In the announcement, it was stated that the main theme of OST, about the difficult feelings between the main leads of 'Jirisan,' required a singer who would be able to convey deep emotions, sorrow, and hope, as well as the struggle for life. Jin's powerful emotional voice with bright color and wide range caught the attention of the producing team.

The OST turned out to be perfect for such an unusual drama as 'Jirisan.' As always, Jin perfectly conveyed the unsaid feelings between the two rangers. More than that, 'Yours' can make you cry in an instant. The suffering of a ghost locked in the mountain, who keeps sending an 'S.O.S' signal to the station, is heard in Jin's voice. The repeating 'La ta ta ta' is, in fact, a morse code for that signal.

The Grand Awards & Gala Finale of AACA will be hosted by Munah Bagharib and Bobby Tonelli. Among the stars who are going to attend the show, it is confirmed that Morisette, actors Bright and Win will appear. Fans are dreaming of seeing Jin there as well, but he might not be able to attend due to his busy schedule.
