Jimin's Dispatch D'FESTA Lenticular cover is the #1 Daily best selling magazine on two of South Korea's popular book stores
Earlier this year, Dispatch Korea announced the D FESTA, which is the first global K-pop festival in which the artists who have led the globalization of K-pop and the best creators in Korea participated together during an event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Dispatch. This happened between April 8 - June 6 this year at the Yeouido IFC Mall.
Aside from other organized fun events like art exhibitions, it was announced that individual photo books would be released to the public locally and internationally through various stores. As such, previews of the photo books have been released on social media sites to raise anticipation.
On the 3rd of July, Dispatch enticed fans with moving lenticular covers for the magazines, announcing that there would be preorders from the 4th to the 14th of July. International fans can preorder from Global Gmarket and Ktown4u, with those from South Korea getting them on Kyobo, Yes24, and Aladin.
With this in mind, fans rushed to selected stores to preorder, and it appears that Jimin's cover has been gaining popularity. A look at the rankings on the charts showed Jimin's lenticular cover to be the #1 best-selling magazine in the best-selling daily chart on two of the best-selling bookstores in South Korea namely, Yes 24 and Aladin. In the weekly chart rankings, he was the best-selling among all of BTS members on Yes 24 and number #8 overall in all magazines.
Jimin is a sold-out King, with the products he uses or wears always being the most preferred by fans and the public alike. Jimin, who has topped the Korea Business research Brand reputation rankings for three years and ranked first on the Gallup preference survey for two years, is well-loved by brands. From food items, electronics, and apparel, his influence can be seen; Samsung and Louis Vuitton have even credited their success in sales and brand value to him.
Last year after the release of the BTS' GQxVogue January issue, his cover was the highest best selling among BTS members for seven days on Kyobobook, Yes 24, and Aladin in South Korea. In Japan, it was the best seller in entertainment collectibles for four days on Amazon Japan. Additionally, it was the first one to sell out on the Kyobobook platform. Likewise, his iconic Wallstreet journal magazine cover from their innovator's issue was December 2020's best-selling magazine in South Korea on Yes 24 and Interpark.
Congratulations to Jimin, his brand power is really unmatched 💙💙💙
