BTS's Jimin is known for his kind and sweet nature. When it comes to fans, he never fails to make them feel special or assure them of how much he cares for and loves them.

On the 14th of June KST, after the release of the BTS Proof Live session, Jimin took to Weverse to pen a lengthy letter dedicated to ARMY on their 9th Year Anniversary since debuting.

Jimin who is often inactive on social media left fans teary-eyed and emotional with his letter, which opened with, "ARMY, it's been 9 years. It's the day BTS was born and the day I got to see you for the first time so its a precious day. It is such a relief we were able to be with you on such a precious day.I have a lot of things to say and a lot of emotions to express. As each year passes, I think the weight of words said over and over again like."Thank you", "I'm sorry", "I love you" are getting heavier. But I have no other words besides these, that I am able to use to express myself."

He proceeded further with, "For always running to us whenever we are having a concert and for letting us see you when we want to see you/miss you, I am grateful. We are always making you wait, and I'll have to apologize that in return, our way of repaying you is smaller than your support, Even so I love you so  so so much for always being by my/our side."

Jimin then touched on all the past memories and plans for the future, saying, "I think that the time is passing by so fast and looking back at the path we've walked on, we have felt lots of emotions.I am eagerly looking forward to the future and the memories we will make, what will make us laugh, what will make us cry. I am expressing this to you through words I've chosen carefully."

He went on further to express gratitude and assurance to the ARMY, adding, "I/we are hoping to be with you for as long time as possible. And for that to happen,we will show you even better sides of us so we could repay you. Thank you always, from the bottom of my heart, for loving our music,our performances and for loving us."

Although quite straight forward, the letter was filled with lots of consideration and love for his fans making them emotional. Fans took to social media platforms to express their feelings on the letter praising Jimin for his maturity, good choice of words and genuine consideration of fans having penned the letter at 3 AM  in the morning. Along with these were Korean outlets and international media which reported on his letter of gratitude to fans in commemoration of their 9th debut anniversary.
