Fans celebrated 100 days of Kim Taehyung's release of 'Christmas Tree' and the many domestic and international chart achievements and records it has achieved since then.
Released on December 24 last year, 'Christmas Tree' was a song that music director Nam Hye-Seung worked with V in mind from the planning stage for the K-drama series 'Our Beloved Summer.'
'Christmas Tree' received explosive love from fans upon release and continues to enjoy popularity even after three months have passed. It has now spent 100 consecutive days on the MelOn Daily Chart Top 100.
It is currently the longest-charting solo song by a BTS member as a soloist on the chart. While second place is also held by V's other OST 'Sweet Night' for the K-drama series 'Itaewon Class.'
To commemorate the anniversary, a joint advertisement project by V's global fanbase 'BTS V Union' and his Korean fanbase 'V INSIDE' was done, and a magazine cover ad in Big Issue Korea's 272 edition was arranged to promote his song.
Big Issue Korea is globally distinguished for its philanthropy work to ending homelessness, and the sales revenue from the magazine is being used to help the low-income class become self-reliant.
