YG Entertainment is continuing their commitment to more environment-friendly merchandise.
According to the agency, BLACKPINK member Lisa's upcoming 3rd photobook '0327: VOL. 03' will be made with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified paper, soy-based ink, and a recyclable coating. The packaging is also constructed of PBAT (polybutylene adipate terephthalate), a biodegradable polymer.
As previously reported, in 2021, YG Entertainment announced plans to take the lead in innovating the current K-Pop album consumption trend by adopting more responsible, eco-friendly methods of production. The plan went into effect beginning with the release of WINNER member Song Min Ho's 3rd full album 'To INFINITY,' which weas also FSC-certified, made of recycled pulp, low-carbon paper, and a water-based coating.
Meanwhile, '0327: VOL. 3' is a 240-page photobook featuring Lisa that comes with an additional four photos, a random photocard, and a sticker set. 327 of the photobooks will also contain her autography. Preorders for the photobook kicked off on March 7 at 5 PM KST.
