IST Entertainment has confirmed Weeekly member Lee Soo Jin has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a statement released by the agency, the idol began experiencing symptoms similar to a mild cold over the weekend. When using a self-test kit, she tested negative for COVID-19; however, as her symptoms worsened, she visited a clinic to take a PCR test on the morning of February 14. Soon after, she was informed that she tested positive. She is currently following quarantine authorities' guidelines.

In response to the diagnosis, all Weeekly members and staff will be tested for the virus. IST plans to release another statement once they are notified of the results.

The agency ended their statement apologizing for causing concern and assuring fans that they will do their best to ensure Lee Soo Jin's quick recovery.
