IU has postponed her schedules in order to undergo COVID-19 testing, after it was reported that singer Lim Chang Jung tested positive for COVID-19.
Previously on November 8, IU attended singer Lee Ji Hoon's wedding ceremony to sing the congratulatory song for the newlywed couple. Lim Chang Jung also attended the event to sing a congratulatory song on this day. The very next day on November 9, it was reported that Lim Chang Jung had tested positive for COVID-19.
Following this news, an official from EDAM Entertainment told one exclusive media outlet, "All the schedules for today will be postponed, and [IU] will undergo the COVID-19 test. IU entered through a separate entrance, one that is used by the staff members, to sing the congratulatory song and then left. She did not cross paths with Lim Chang Jung."
