BTS's single CD "Butter" has been certified as Platinum, by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

On August 10, the Recording Industry Association of Japan revealed that BTS's single CD "Butter" surpassed 250,000 cumulative shipments, and became certified as 'Platinum' status. BTS was also previously certified as 'Million' with their Japanese album, 'BTS, THE BEST ', on June 16.

The Recording Industry Association of Japan publishes certified works according to cumulative shipments of music albums. The certifications are divided as Gold (more than 100,000 shipments), Platinum (more than 250,000 shipments), Double Platinum (more than 500,000 shipments), Triple Platinum (more than 750,000 shipments), and Million (more than 1 million shipments).
