Last year, Jin set the trend on getting #1 on iTunes in as many countries as possible. Everything started with fans noticing that Jin's solo songs always get the biggest number of #1 on iTunes compared to other members' solo songs ("Epiphany," "Awake," "Moon"). They also noticed that after the release of the MOTS7 album, "Moon" was the highest-charting solo on iTunes of numerous countries, sometimes even surpassing the title track.

What is important to remember is that a B-side track usually never charts on iTunes because people buy the whole album instead. Jin's songs, however, were getting attention apart from the whole album.

It became the first solo song to reach 100 #1, charted worldwide on iTunes, and helped paved the way for others. Fans of Jin on Twitter even started adding little numbers of countries that were musically conquered by "Moon" to their display names!

Since February 2020, his solo song "Moon" started breaking record after record on iTunes, and now, Jin is the first Korean artist to reach 240 combined #1 for all three solo songs. Fans trended a congratulating hashtag. The chart is counting only official solo songs released under BTS (3 songs for each member). Some members have solo songs outside the group, which would not be making it possible to fairly count the number of #1 since when a song is not a part of the album and has solo promotion, it charts on iTunes regardless.

All in all, Jin is the most charted member in the "Wings," "Love Yourself," and "MOTS7" albums.
