Seventeen have postponed their comeback promotions for "Ready to Love" after 2 staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
On June 19, Pledis Entertainment announced, "Seventeen's promotional activities for their 8th mini album 'Your Choice' have been postponed. On June 15, Seventeen were filming as part of their comeback preparations for their 8th mini album. One HYBE staff member and 1 external staff member who were present at the event both tested positive for COVID-19, the first on the 18th and the second on the 19th."
The label further confirmed the Seventeen members used self-testing kits at home on the 17th and got negative results. They underwent more testing, and they all received negative results on the 18th. Though the Seventeen members are also not experiencing any symptoms, disease prevention authorities ordered them to self-quarantine from June 19 to the 29th.
This means Seventeen are postponing their filming for 'Inkigayo' as well as an online fan event originally planned for the 20th. Pledis concluded, "The label will continue to follow the directions and guidelines of disease prevention authorities with our artists and staff's health as our highest priority."
Stay tuned for updates on Seventeen.
