Girls' Generation's Taeyeon will be returning with her new song, "Weekend."
Just a few hours back, Taeyeon announced that she will be releasing a new single. Then on June 30 at midnight KST, the girl group member released a set of teaser images to prepare for her comeback.
"Weekend" is a disco-pop genre, decorated with delicate guitar and retro synth sounds. The lyrics will express one's desires to momentarily escape their repetitive daily life, and go far away to places their heart wants to go to, with a free spirit.
Following the retro disco-pop concept, Taeyeon radiates her doll-like beauty oozing out the retro-pop vibe.
Taeyeon's new single "Weekend" is scheduled to be released on July 6th at 6 PM KST so stay tuned for more teasers to come!
