BTS has released many interviews this week, mostly because of the anticipation of their second all-English song, "Butter," and of course, the cover of Rolling Stone and its seven editions. This tons of content is due to their now released "Butter," which has already broken records on YouTube, surpassing Dynamite by being the first video to reach the milestone of 112 million views in 24 hours, and also, is expected to stay 'til the end on the number 1 of Billboard Hot 100.
In an interview with Sirius XM, BTS has talked about their projects with McDonald's. RM recalls that the idea of creating the BTS MEAL because, in South Korea, their specialty at McDonald's is the Sweet Chili sauce, which is only available in Korea. So they thought it'd be great to include it worldwide, and they are sure about its success. Meanwhile, SUGA said that he has the fondest memories with McDonald's, mostly back to his trainee years.
They also talked about their plans for tours, which is still far away from reality now, but they are waiting patiently for the day to come and to be on the road again, whenever it is safe for both ARMY and their staff. Finally, they repeated once again how honored they were to be performing their new single, "Butter," at the BBMAs, and how they wanted to give the world a great summer with this song. In the interview with ET, BTS talked about being guests at the Friends reunion, set to release its episode on May 27th on the HBO MAX platform. Anyways, RM says that he is very excited about it, calling Monica, Ross, and Chandler as their "English teachers" and pointing out Chandler as his favorite character. Meanwhile, Yoongi said that his favorite character is Monica.
Of course, they talked about collaborating with luxury brand Louis Vuitton, and Kim Taehyung got the word in there. Being known as the fashionista and stylish man on the band, he said that they are very excited and comfortable to be working with Virgil Abloh, the artistic director of the mentioned brand. He also pointed out how they managed to tell [Virgil] about their preferences on clothes and how he made it perfectly right for each of them, so they are very anxious to show the world, and also, ARMY, their project.
Since the launch of this new single, there will be more and more interviews, including many interesting contents from McDonald's, which has recently spilled that there is going to be merch with their collaboration with HYBE. So, keep an eye on this, and also, don't forget to stream "Butter."
