BTS Jimin’s brand power is recognized anew by Korean media being the main contributor to the global export of spicy chicken ramen

BTS’s Park Jimin is at it again, showing his unmatched brand power which goes beyond music and K-pop. Jimin can cause a crazy sellout or contributes to massive sales growth of any product he touches from fashion items, electronic gadgets, accessories and even food and drinks.
South Korea’s "Channel A" recently mentioned Jimin in the “Happy Morning” show because of his huge contributions to the global export of spicy chicken ramen. There has been a discussion about the amazing popularity of Korean Ramyun. The hosts of the said morning show mentioned the top 3 export powerhouses of Korean ramen. These are Jjabaguri promoted in the movie “Parasite, spicy chicken ramen because of Jimin and the traditional strong Shin ramen.
Last October 2020, it was reported by Business Watch Korea that Jimin contributed to the sudden increase in sales for Samyang, a South Korean brand of spicy chicken ramen by 33% in China and 158% in the USA from July to August. This happened after Jimin was seen with red lips and teary eyes after eating the spicy chicken ramen.
Jimin previously has become a hot topic for his contribution in the increase in the global sales of “Tteokbokki, a stir-fried rice cake by 25% after he was spotted eating it in a local street stall.
