Eight months after its initial release, BTS member V’s solo track “Inner Child” from the record-shattering album: ‘Map of The Soul:7 has achieved yet another milestone. 

The track has hit a new peak of #2 on the Billboard World Digital Songs Sales Chart following BTS’s power-packed virtual concert: MOTS: ON: E.

Following the two-day concert “Inner Child” along with V’s second solo track of 2020: “Sweet Night” experienced a surge in sales on both Amazon and US iTunes. V’s powerful and soul-stirring performance touched millions of hearts resulting in the track becoming the highest charting B-side track on the Billboard chart post the concert.

This comes to no surprise as Vs first live performance of the track took the world by storm. The performance has been deemed as the “The Vocals of Heaven” by Korean media and noted as the highlight of the concert by various International media outlets. Several journalists and critics also praised and acknowledged the power of V’s voice to not only fill up a stage but move the hearts of millions worldwide.

Inner Child’s new achievement also marks V’s highest entry on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart. The track which peaked at #2 currently tops his individual list of entries followed by Intro: Singularity from Love Yourself: Tear at #3 and Singularity from Love Yourself: Answer at #5.

In addition to this latest accolade, the solo track has also topped 89 countries on the worldwide iTunes chart making V the first and only Asian solo artist in history to chart more than 89 countries with two solo songs as Sweet Night reigns at the top of the list with 117 countries.

As BTS is gearing up for their new self-produced album: BE set for release on November 20th, many fans are eagerly awaiting to see a whole new side of V as he has taken up the additional responsibility as the Visual Director of the album.
