GOT7 has canceled their Kuala Lumpur show.
Originally, the boys were to be in Kuala Lumpur for their 'Keep Spinning' tour on March 7th. However, because of the spread of the coronavirus, GOT7 has ultimately decided to cancel the show. JYP Entertainment's full statement reads:
Hopefully fans will be able to see them some other time.
I don't understand why JYP is being inconsistent in how they are handling their artists regarding the coronavirus? Why is it ok for TWICE to perform in Japan yet not ok for GOT7 to perform in KL? And Japan has more cases of the coronavirus than Malaysia. Interesting. A financial decision perhaps. They can cancel 1 GOT7 concert but 4 huge TWICE concerts in Japan followed by 2 in SK. Now that would be a huge financial hit.
