I made an article in poor judgment from the misdirected anger I had towards YG Entertainment and changed the positions of Blackpink.

After I made the post, I forgot it and the account. Today I logged back in with hopes of deletions. I found out deleting both would be nearly impossible. I welcome all suggestions. The least I could do is edit the article.

Blackpink is a four member girl group comprising four members; Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. A unique factor of the group is no leader. At first, I rearranged their positions, but after reconsideration, the positions are fine.

Jisoo: Lead Vocalist and Visual

• Jisoo is one of the top female visual in the Korean industry, and some people only regard her as a visual completely ignoring her talents and contributions towards Blackpink.

• Jisoo is a skilled vocalist and underappreciated. Listeners could recognize her deep, husky toned voice more if she had better opportunities to shine in the group. Even though she is not recognized as a rapper, Jisoo has proven her rapping abilities in Pretty Savage, and other moments such as 4D live stage.

Jennie: Main Rapper and Lead Vocalist

• Jennie’s position in the group has always been a hot button topic. Her voice differs from most. Her singing voice comes out naturally. If someone asked her to sing on the street, Jennie's voice would sound the same as in the studio.

• Rapper Jennie has the potential of being one of the best female rappers in the industry. Her company restricts her along with the other members. Jennie has great flow, and since she co-wrote Lovesick Girls, she has the potential to write her own raps. YG Entertainment needs to showcase Jennie rapping abilities more and improve her confidence level

Rosé: Main Vocalist and Lead Dancer

• People have trashed Rosé vocals over the years. It is not her fault, YG has a history of changing their artist’s singing styles. Listeners often complained about Rosé vocals, which are harsh judgments. Before she debuted in Blackpink, Rosé found herself featured on GD single. Her tone and vocal talents excited people. No doubt she is not a main vocalist to be underestimated. After years of waiting, she finally got her solo

• Lisa can overshadow her dancing skills, however she is an amazing dancer. She processes an impressive stage presence. In music videos, her dancing always slays and gains attention.

Lisa: Main Dancer, Lead Rapper, and Sub Vocalist

• Someone can mislabel Lisa as the main rapper as Blackpink. I can understand why she heard rapping the most in the group. Lisa has a pleasant flow and presentation. She knows how to act the part. I am no means a professional and cannot commit more to the title.

• Main dancer’s position belongs to her. She is the best dancer in the group. Her abilities as a dancer are unbelievable, and she leads others into the world of dance. Many people look to Lisa for guidance, since she is a trusted individual.

• Lisa vocals skills are more than meets the ear. Listeners underestimate her potential as a vocalist.

Blackpink in no means is the best girl group in the industry. However, they are the most popular, and did not become that for no reason. They have all the making of an undefeatable girl group; unique vocals, strong vocal line, strong rap line, amazing dance line, and stunning visuals with all members. Blinks are a loyal fanbase who protect and support the girls even when inactive. YG is a restricting company. The company restricts an artist’s expression and abilities. I wish to see more from the group in the future.
