TWICE is once again proving both their physical and digital sales prowess as some of their past tracks see a sudden rise on music charts.
On July 5, 2019, their title track "Dance the Night Away" snagged the #2 spot on Melon's Sudden Rising Chart while "Yes or Yes" was on #4. Their hit song "Cheer Up" also amazingly climbed 281 spots to #20.
In addition, TWICE's old albums are also making a comeback as TWICECOASTER Lane 1 (released in 2016) took the #1 spot on Hanteo Real-Time Album Chart on July 4, 2019. The said album remains the Best Selling Album by a Kpop Girl Group on Hanteo. Other past albums that also made it to the chart were Page Two (released in 2016) at #5 and The Story Begins (released in 2015) at #6.
The reason for the sudden surge is unidentified but fans speculate that their series of successful concerts as part of their ongoing World Tour and current promotions for their Japan comeback may have greatly contributed.
