K-pop girl band HOTPLACE say their beautiful small faces are maintained by drinking ‘idol water’ every morning.
Stars are desperate to prevent facial bloating because a small face is regarded as one of the key factors in their good looks.
Some celebrities have devised a way to prevent facial bloating with “special water” and shared this secret tip with their close friends.
The secret recipe for special water was made public on Tuesday after K-pop girl group HOTPLACE disclosed what they called “idol water” on MBC's morning show Live Today Morning.
“I drink this water whenever I feel my face is bloated in the morning. Once I drink it, my face soothes in 20 to 30 minutes,” said Si-hyun, a member of the girl group.
Ingredients of the specially designed water are simple. All you need is half a litre of water, one green teabag, two spoons of sugar and a quarter of a lemon.
“I make this before I go to bed, so in the morning I can drink it as soon as I wake up,” said Jeje, the leader of the girl group.
“This water is famous among celebrities. It is good when you have facial bloating.”
The recipe for the water went viral on YouTube. Luna, a member of the girl group f (x), and fashion stylist Han Hye-yeon also introduced it on ONSTYLE D YouTube channel.
Lemon, green tea, sugar and water are the ingredients for the ‘idol water’ which celebrities say helps reduce facial bloating. The recipe has gone viral online.
“Models and idol girl group members have used this method to lose weight in a short period of time,” Luna said in the video clip.
Luna also showed how to make it on her YouTube channel, Luna’s Alphabet.
“Green tea has antibiotic and detoxifying components called polyphenols,” Yoo Jun-il, an orthopaedist, said on the show. “When saccharine combines with vitamin C from lemon, it can help reducing swollen face.”
The doctor advised, “Three cups per day is a suitable amount. It is important to exercise rather than relying entirely on the water to lose weight and treat swelling.”

y does this article have so many downvotes? i dont see anything bad or wrong with this article especially since alot of kpop fans often want secrets to how kpop idols maintain a certain look if the idol doesnt want to get plastic surgery. (im not saying they always get plastic surgery im just saying that alot of idols dont want plastic surgery so they use alternate ways to keep a certain look like makeup or like in the article 'idol water')
