Singer Roy Kim will be receiving his graduation diploma from Georgetown University as planned, but he will not attend the university's commencement ceremony.
On May 16, Roy Kim's label told media outlets, "Currently, Roy Kim is remaining in Korea with a reflective attitude, so it's true that he cannot attend the graduation ceremony. However, Roy Kim was a diligent student throughout his academic career, and also gave his best efforts in his last semester. His graduation was decided from the university."
It's reported that Georgetown University decided to approve Roy Kim's graduation as planned due to the fact that the singer has yet to receive his criminal sentence, and that he has no previous criminal record.
