As all the big government-owned media in South Korea compete to publish about Seungri, the reporting seems to progressively divert away from the bigger issues.
The current climate is that more publications are starting to question and suspect the media.
According to Free Mouth Paper, numerous media are competing to make everything related to Seungri suspicious and subject to scrutiny. They seem to be working on the formula that "he must be a criminal" by associating every crime (to him).
The Suspicions aren't specific and sloppy logic is being used to "prove" his guilt. The excessive overheated reporting on suspicions regarding Seungri are causing major cases like Jang Ja-Yeon and those involving ruling party figures like Kim Kyung-soo, Son Hye-won, and others being covered up.
Free Mouth Paper urges the public to not be blinded by media and to demand that the political situation linked to corruption in society and corruption in power be revealed.

Culture Critic for Dailian News, Ha Jae-geun, states that media reporters are broadcasting internet suspicions and that groundless claims itself cannot be recognized as legitimate claims.
On the subject of SBS "The It's Know", he criticized them for raising conspiracy theories without any grounds or specifics and pointed out that Burning Sun's equity structure shows the hotel (power industry) accounted for 42% but the show only focused on Yuri Holdings which accounts for 20%.
" If someone in a company has 42% stake, then usually he or she is the real owner" - Ha Jae-geun.
Ha Jae-geun concluded the report with a cautionary note that " We need to keep all possibilities open and investigate Burning Sun itself...If the issue of Seungri and YGE continues to be on the forefront, the truth may be buried" - [Issue Analysis] Is Seungri really Burning Sun's Body? in the reality from the first I thought that especially JJY is the guiltiest person alive. However within last official information from police I started to lose it at all. Sorry but please all this mess because of less than 10 sec videos or photos which was taken on plane. really? certainly it was revealed and all culprits should be accused according to law. I even uderstand that this is especially important issue for Korean women. Because problem is so real and wide spreaded. But why to make it so biggest and day by day to give an audience small part of true. The day before to say police can not restore deleted information from JJY phone and later to reveal actually they can. is it play or what? I try to said yes it is crime. But in our world has such a crimes which need to be solved right away. Which ones scope more than this or they are more fearsome. Even the latest news when Korean police find biggest spy cam case like 1600 people was secretly filmed in motel rooms. It got more small reaction than BS.
