According to an exclusive report on February 16, club 'Burning Sun' will shut down all business starting tomorrow, February 17.

The club is currently under police investigation as a hotspot of various crimes including illegal drug distribution, illegal sexual harassment, violence, and more. A representative from 'Burning Sun' reportedly revealed, "We have decided to shut down business, in light of the ongoing investigation. This does not mean that we admit to all of the controversies."

Even after the above mentioned controversies garnered media attention, clubgoers continued to visit 'Burning Sun' regularly. Back on February 14, it was revealed that approximately 2,000 customers visited the club. Still, the club admitted that profits were currently only 50% of the expected amount.

Celebrity endorsement is a double edged sword. Celebs may bring in the customers, but once something goes wrong, it's a total witch hunt. The majority of the clubs in Korea are exactly the same as this place, except they are still operational because there are no celebrities involved.
