Former Girls' Generation member Sooyoung was featured in the latest 'GQ' pictorial.
During the interview, Sooyoung looked back on her twenties and discussed her love for photography.
"I look at these younger idols who are promoting in their twenties, and I think to myself, 'you are so pretty during your early twenties,' even though I hadn't thought of it that way then," said Sooyoung.
She continued: "Before turning thirty, I decided to hold a photo exhibit to celebrate my twenties. But, when I saw Linda McCartney's exhibition, I realized that I had a long way to go. For an exhibit that I would really like to do, I probably have to wait until my forties. The small things around me -- Girls' Generation members' lovely faces with no make-up, the lively scenes during our practice, Mom's face, Dad's hands -- I do not post these photos on SNS; instead, I hide them. One day, I will get to reveal them just as Linda had done."
Sooyoung, whose birthday is on February 10th, has held her photo exhibition last November, titled 'This-Star is Shining' ('this-star' could also be phonetically translated as 'farewell'.)
