Kang Daniel breaks Pope Francis's record for the fastest person to reach 1 million Instagram followers

Kang Daniel has made a new remarkable record on Instagram.

On the first day of 2019, Kang Daniel opened up his very own personal Instagram account. In just 11 hours and 35 minutes, the popular idol star hit 1 million followers. 

According to Guinness World Records, Kang Daniel has achieved a new record for the fastest person to reach a million followers on Instagram. Previously, the record was held by Pope Francis, who hit the 1 million mark in 12 hours with his account @franciscus in 2016. 

So far, Kang Daniel has shared some selfies and a video of his cat. You can check out his account @thisisdaniel_k.
