Lee Jong Suk and his staff members have been released after being detained in Indonesia.
On November 5, Lee Jong Suk shared via Instagram that he and his staff members are unable to return to South Korea because their passports have been confiscated by Jakarta authorities.
He explained, "yes24, the (fan meeting) promoter, reported lower profits than the actual amount they made to the local tax authorities. Me and my staff members passports have been taken away even though we have absolutely no relation."
To Xports News, Lee Jong Suk's agency, A-MAN Project, revealed they have requested help to the embassy.
Several hours later, an exclusive report by TV Daily stated that Lee Jong Suk and his staff members have been released from detainment around 11 pm KST. The actor and the staff are reportedly flying back to South Korea. Lee Jong Suk plans to participate in filming for the new tvN drama 'Romance Is a Supplement' when he returns.
These overseas promoters are not very trustworthy, are they? Not the first article recently about issues involving a shady overseas promoter.
