An entertainment agency's CEO was arrested for assaulting girl group members.
On August 2 KST, the Cheongju Heungdeok Police Station reported that Entertainment CEO 'A', aged 37, was arrested with charges of assault that took place on July 29. According to the reports, 'A' physically assaulted two girl group members of his/her own agency at a hotel parking lot located in Heungdeok around 2:30 AM. The victims fell to the ground, which caused injuries to their bodies such as head and back.
During investigation procedures, 'A' testified that s/he "did not like the attitude of the label artists", which transpired into an argument. S/he revealed, "In a state of drunkenness, I hit them while reprimanding their usual behavior."
Currently, the two girl group victims 'B' and 'C' are reported to be receiving treatment at a hospital. Police expect to reveal more information after further investigation.
