Tae Jin Ah revealed Kangnam asked him for a trot album for 3 years.
The trot duo were guests on the July 24th installment of 'I Like People', and Tae Jin Ah revealed, "Kangnam and I collaborated for a performance at the 'MBC Gayo Festival' in 2014, and we sang my song 'Love Isn't a Joke'. I thought to myself that he could be a trot singer."
He continued, "After camera rehearsal, Kangnam came to me and said, 'Father, please help me release an album. I want to release a trot album.' I told him to wait 20 years, but for 3 years straight, he followed me around and asked. He threatened me and said he doesn't know what he'll do if I don't help him this year."
Kangnam explained, "I've done trot ever since I was young. In middle school, I auditioned with trot at a national talent show in Japan."
