On the April 9 airing of Channel A's 'Heard It Through the Grapevine', MC Park Soo Hong shared, "Before the recording, I actually texted Kim Saeng Min and asked if he could give me a call."
He explained, "I heard that Kim Saeng Min continuously cried on the phone with Kim Soo Yong yesterday. So I texted him (before making the call) because he might not be picking up the phone but he gave a call right away. So I talked with him. I asked, 'Are you okay?' and he replied, 'I'm sorry hyungnim'. I could tell that he was trying to sound strong. And I told him, 'We're going to be covering your incident on this show but we don't have any direct statements from you. Do you have anything to say?' I'll share it for you. He just said he's very sorry and is having a hard time. He just repeatedly said that and cried."
Park Soo Hong added, "I personally cannot match this issue with him. Can't believe Kim Saeng Min is swept up in such a controversy... because he was always so proper and good to his peers. He was never rude to his hoobaes or made mistakes with his words. It's so unfortunate and unbelievable."
