On March 22, actor Bong Tae Gyu, who wowed viewers with his outstanding performance in the recently ended drama, met with the press for an interview. At the event, he was given questions about Go Hyun Jung's controversy.

Regarding the issue, Bong Tae Gyu stated, "As a person who participated (in the drama), I'm very cautious. I wasn't drastically shaken by the controversy. I do want to speak about the issue but it's true that I'm very cautious about it. It's an issue of the past so I think this is all I can say at the moment. I'm very cautious. I wasn't too shaken by it and I only desperately hoped that it will come to an end on good terms."

'Return' with the female lead switch from Go Hyun Jung to Park Jin Hee came to a successful close with final viewer ratings at 16% on March 22.
