The 7 Korean citizens who were imprisoned for illegally selling Wanna One goods in Malaysia have been released.
Back on January 22, South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported 7 Korean citizens were detained in Malaysia for illegally selling Wanna One Goods. As of January 30, all of them have returned to Korea after being acquitted of the charges on the 25th.
A rep of the Ministry of Affairs stated, "The Embassy of Malaysia conducted a meeting with the 7 Korean nationals who were detained. They were examined for any health conditions and returned to their families with in-depth explanations."
As previously reported, 19 people were arrested for breaking immigration laws (absence of passports, overstaying their tourist visas, illegally selling goods).
