Gugudan's Kim Se Jung, who took on her first ever lead role in a drama through Ra Eun Ho in 'School 2017', relayed her thoughts short after the end of the series through her label Jellyfish Entertainment. Kim Se Jung shared, "I felt that it was a huge relief for my first acting role to be in 'School 2017'. [Through the series], I was able to think back on the days that I had forgotten after achieving my dream of debuting. I want to thank the production for giving me the chance to look at me from the past, who shined and felt happy through dreams, through Eun Ho. I was able to experience how happy I was because of my dreams, my friends, and school back then. I would like to thank the director and each of the staff members for cheering me on and supporting me, despite how much I lacked and I apologetic I felt because it was my first time. To the 2-1 class friends, who helped me realize again the importance of friends, I love you. I would like to thank the teachers who taught me everything from small to big, and Eun Ho's family. I also want to thank viewers for creating an Eun Ho who is loved on set. Please watch over me as I continue to work hard."
